Too short and too late
At memoire in Everett MA, doors opened at 9pm on a Sunday night. We arrived around 9:30 thinking gryffin would come on between 10 and 11 (especially because it's not a weekend and we have work the next day, which I stupidly thought would mean things would not go as late). Instead, we listened to the opening dj for over 3 hours and drank overpriced drinks, waiting for gryffin... I didn't come out on a Sunday night to dance to random club music, I came to see gryffin. Gryffin finally came out a little after 12:30, and since the club closes at 2 he had to wrap up a little before that. Even in the last 20mins or so the bar was closed, bathrooms were closed, and we were essentially being kicked out. I've never been to a concert where the main performer I came to see doesn't come out until a little more than an hour before the place shuts down. That being said, the performance itself was good, gryffin is great, just way too short a show and not worth the money I paid. I won't be coming back to this venue or going to a similar concert in the future.
